A Morning on Canyon Road
Canyon Road runs about half a mile through Santa Fe's historic Eastside, lined with galleries, studios and old adobe homes. Santa Fe Teahouse & Bistro sits at the top of the road, at 821 Canyon Road, which makes it a natural place to begin your walk or to rest at the end of it.
Start with breakfast
We open at 8:00 AM, Thursday through Monday. Have breakfast on the patio, then walk down Canyon Road toward the Plaza as the galleries open.
Or end with lunch
Walk up from the Plaza through the galleries and finish with lunch at the Teahouse. Our kitchen serves until 2:45 PM.
Getting here and parking
- We have a small lot of eight spaces. There is a paid lot next door and free street parking on the adjacent streets.
- Parking on Canyon Road is limited, especially on weekends and holidays, so allow a little extra time.
Tips for the walk
- Santa Fe sits at about 7,000 feet. Bring water, sunscreen and comfortable shoes.
- Many galleries keep their own hours, so check ahead for any you don't want to miss.
- Dogs are welcome on our patio.
