Ripe apricot in the heat of the afternoon — sweet, golden, slightly tart at the skin, impossibly fragrant. There's nothing complicated about a perfect apricot, and this tea doesn't try to make it more than it already is. That restraint is the whole point. Some things are simply good, and the best thing you can do is get out of the way.
Taste: Sun-ripened apricot leads with warm natural sweetness over a smooth, slightly malty base. Light and fruity with a finish that doesn't overstay. The kind of cup that works at 10am and 3pm in equal measure. A Teahouse staple for a reason.
Ingredients: Black tea blend (China/Ceylon), natural apricot flavor, marigold petals, mango flakes
Steeping Guide:
1 heaping tsp.
6 oz. at 203–212° water
Steep 4–5 minutes
