Some teas whisper. This one stops conversations. A rare, lightly oxidized oolong from China's Wuyi Mountains with a texture so rich and buttery that first-timers on Canyon Road usually set the cup down and ask what they're drinking. We get very little of it each year, and it never stays on the shelf for long.
Taste: Outrageous buttery richness leads — think shortbread, think cream, think nothing else you've ever had from a cup of tea. Deep layered florals deepen with every infusion. Complex, warming, and completely unlike anything else on our menu. Try it once and you'll understand why it sells out.
Ingredients: High-mountain oolong tea (Wuyi Mountains, China)
Steeping Guide:
1 heaping tsp.
6 oz. at 195° water
Steep 3–5 minutes
Re-steep 4+ times, adding 1 minute each
