For over a thousand years the flat blade-like leaves of Longjing have been pan-fired in Zhejiang province. The technique hasn't changed because nothing has improved it. This organic version carries that unbroken lineage to Canyon Road. We consider it the benchmark — the green tea everything else is measured against.
Taste: The roasted chestnut note arrives first — warm, toasty, and immediately recognizable as Dragonwell. A smooth lightly sweet vegetal character follows into a clean almost buttery finish. Pale gold in the cup. Completely elegant and completely worth it.
Ingredients: Organic Longjing (Dragon Well) green tea (Zhejiang, China)
Steeping Guide:
1 heaping tsp.
6 oz. water just short of a boil
Steep 2–3 minutes
